Where are people from Ontario booking from?

Hey everyone, our original account is locked and no matter how we reset the password it won't work... But that's unrelated.

We have been to TTR a few times now and every year it gets harder to book. We originally went from Sault ste marie ontario, then that venue wasn't offered so we went through Sudbury, now it doesn't appear to be offered there either... We live in Northern Ontario and so far "blindly searching" we can only find package deals for TTR flying from Toronto. That would be an 11hour drive from home 1 way and add a few hundred in fuel, parking, and hotel costs to our trip.

Are there any other options for packages to TTR without having to depart from Toronto?? We have friend who lives in sault ste marie on the US border, are there Michigan departure options maybe? Thanks!

We are halfway between Sudbury and Thunder Bay, I tried Expedia and travelocity but both don't show departures to Cancun from anywhere but Toronto.

 

Looks like you can book flights from Sault Ste. Marie to Cancun for about $800per person all in. Then just have to book the room separately. Try alpharooms or something. and then USA Transfers to get from airport to hotel.

 

Packages are offered leaving from Kitchener and Hamilton. If you want to leave from the US, Detoit is an option. I did a price comparision of what we paid, leaving the same time, and Hamilton is even cheaper that what we paid leaving from Ottawa. Direct flights as well.
