anyone having health issues after return from TTR ?

as of today i'm finally feeling a little bit better ,still very weak ,still having hot and cold flashes but my throat is not as sore ..that's a relief ..it has not been a fun bug what ever I got

Sorry to hear you've still suffering since your return Jeff, had a little tickle in my throat but MAIN PROBLEM is massive withdrawal symptoms, been to doc's but apparently only cure is a return visit, so you can't argue with the doctor, can you ??. Looking at booking return trip asap :mnm:

We now bring a can of lysol disinfectant and spray the air vent in our room... haven't had any issues since. And like other we don't have the a/c on when sleeping.

 

I use to always get sick either just before it was time to go home or the night I get home.. cold/flu like symptoms soar throat.. I started take airbourn C, while im there.. I dont drink the sluhy ice drinks very often any more they are hard on your throat, and i use my own cup. getting on the plane going to and from Cancun, I wipe down the damn Airplane.. lysol wet ones.. my seat, belt, TV, tray, head rest, arms.. seat back in front og me, everything i can wipe down, I do.. and a couple times the people asked across from me if i had extra wipes cause they thought it was a good idea.. My brother works for a major airline and other than picking up the garbage and wiping your tray if it looks like it needs it.. they do not clean the planes between flights..if some one was sneezing and coughing and sick in your seat before you?.. no wonder and then 2 weeks later.. your sick!.. if I thought that I could wear a sick mask with out people getting all stressed out .. I WOULD!!.. thats where I honestly think i get sick.. the damn plane.. last 3 trips I did this.. and did not get sick at all..

 

Kelsey came down with heavy duty abdominal cramping on the second to last day. We tried to avoid Mexican hospital at all costs so she toughed it out until we got home. Got progressively worse and considered the hospital in Toronto on our 7 hour layover. Suffered through it there and flew to Edmonton where we went straight to hospital from the airport with extreme doubled-over pain. Numerous tests later and a keg of morphine, they figure she contracted some sort of gastrointestinal virus.

Other than that, we only ever come home from TTR with the occasional cold.

I just came home with bruises and a sprained wrist. Still getiting over the sprained wrist.

 

warm salt water gargle did work last year ! just took a full day and a half. guess that's the best ya can do ! and rest it

 

any jellyfish this year ? this chick last year got stung on her first day (leg) , it looked awful and quite large.
