Going to pick the wife up at her school at 12 Noon. Then on to the airport and Grand Oasis Viva. USA Transfers still lists it as Grand Oasis Viva Beach !!! If this place is great, I suppose we will be a pair of Brave Explorers going where no Cancuncare person has gone before (make us feel like Captain Kirk just a bit). However, it this resort isn't what we hope it is, I guess we will be those "novice tourist who didn't do their research well enough and what did we expect anyway". Yep, I'm also on Trip Advisor, lots of the "experts" there would go without food and water for a week, just to scold someone!!! And most of them have probably never left the US !!!

gov arrived at 9 pm last nite!!! Traffic was BAD !!! Repaving the road up and down the hotel zone !! Took 45 minutes to get to GOV !!! If it was concrete I wouldn't I wouldn't complain, however it was that 4 letter word 'ASPHALT" !!!' TOOK almost 45 minutes to get here!!! As far as the beach and the rooms, this place has TTR beat by several miles !!! really Great !!! didn't see any topless gals at the main pool this morning !!! GOV could kick TTR off the planet if the folks come here !!! lots fo vendors on the beach, however no drug dealers!!! Good bye Negril and Jamaica!!!
