Hate to bum you guys out but the odds of watching the game (even at Hooters) is about 100-1. Outside Canada the CFL is probably as in demand as lawn-bowling.
It's a (English football) cup that is about as popular outside England, as the Grey Cup is outside Canada i.e something of some importance to those who follow the teams and the sport, but no one else
actually in Cancun if hooters or outback can get NBC sports you'll get the grey cup. And Rider fans travel as well or better than packer or Steelers fans
actually a pretty good analogy. The grey cup gets more viewers than the Superbowl, in Canada. But no one can really compete globally with the NFL.
Globally the FA cup, World Cup and Champions League Cup all exceed the Superbowl in terms of how many people watch. For the World Cup: Even the Cricket World Cup semi final between India and Pakistan was watched by 1 billion, which is 3 times the entire population of the US. About 100 million watch the superbowl, 98% of them in North America
I know it will be held in Saskatchewan, the Roughriders against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Long time Ti-cats fan here...Go Cats Cats!!!
