Here's a link to an article I just ran across.
    Public school teachers beware!

    High school

I love me some teachers but this was ridiculous...it's a little weak as far as immoral photo's go.

Amazing. On the scale of risque, that barely registers. No wonder there's a bunch of us Americans that can't wait to escape Prudeville, USA and go to Temptation for a week.

Jeff n Jill, we think you should be reported for the photo you have as your avatar. How dare you place your hand on Jeff's pecho like that. This site shocks us each day we come back. :bootyshake:

I know of both college, high school, middle school and elementary school teachers where they are told that under no circumstance should they appear on any social media site in a phot of any kind or face loss of their jobs. And their unions support this position by the individual school districts.

That is crazy. Picture with your fiancé. Really pretty innocent. What is the issue?
North and South of the border things are WAY TOO politically correct.

The border I'm talking about is the 49th.

This stuff drives me nuts. How is that a risqué photo. I am going to find the school board email addresses and email them some real risqué photos so they can see the difference. And how anyone can think she is not a suitable teacher based on a photo with her fiancés hand on a clothed breast is beyond me.

I was on Facebook early on, and found it to be nothing more than a way to find out the daily happenings of everyone I went to high school with, the vast majority of whom I was not friends with in the first place. The downside is of course a complete and total loss of privacy. Needless to say I deactivated my account a short time later.

I do have a somewhat anonymous Facebook account for TTR related activity... no last name and is used by both me and the wife. This way I can stay connected, yet maintain privacy.

It's amazing to me how we continue to hold some jobs to impossibly high standards and yet have absolutely none for others. Wanna be famous? Go on tv wearing next to nothing and dance. No matter that your fans are mostly under the age of 12.

I think it is right that we insist on high standards for influencers. But kids take influence from all adults so it is wrong that the rest of us don't live up to that standard too. My work tolerates FB but I post very little and hardly any pictures.

I also think that adults should be allowed to be adults. Wanna get naked at TTR, drunk in Vegas or crazy in your back yard? Do it. Just keep it off FB

Having said all that, I probably would have posted the same picture. It's a breast in a bikini and it's a nice picture of them. Sigh. Some people just can't stand it if anyone else is having fun.

My wife has been a middle school teacher for 28 years. Twice a year, our school board has their lawyer give a two hour lecture at EACH school about the legal requirements for teachers and administrators. There are always 3 critical points.

    1. Get off of Facebook
    2. Get off of Facebook
    3. Get off of Facebook

LOL, And he is not kidding. There is a requirement for all public school teachers to display a "professional" image. The meaning of "professional" is mainly left up to the parents and thats where the problems start. Even a photo showing a teacher drinking any type of alcohol is enough to get someone fired !!! Worst still would be losing your teachers certificate. (issued by the State).

A LOT of parents are very critical and demanding of any adult that is directly involved with their children.

My wife and all of her teachers pals know the rules !!! She would kill me if we displayed ANY type of sexual playfulness in public. The "appearance" of any misconduct is enough for a school board to take action. Chalk it up to political correctness. If you want to get "frisky" with your honey, go to Jamaica or Mexico.

The photos you really worry about are those taken without your knowledge or consent and are then posted on the internet.
