So at TTR nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit except when it comes to what you wear at the reservation restaurants? LOL How about we stop telling people what to wear on their vacations and worry more about ourselves? If someone wants to wear a nice pair of shorts and a collared shirt in a hot climate, does it really matter? The things we humans worry and argue about sometimes are quite interesting.
Agreed! And for the fellows out there that still might be confused, here's a tip. If the wait staff look better than you, it's probably a good indication that you might be under dressed.
there was pants and nice shirts for the restaraunts, but I didnt see them kick anybody out that was not in dress code except for casino night. Wear a nice shirt, nice shorts and youll be fine. If you want to look like a slob hey its your trip you paid for it.
I can't help that the resort hires people prettier than me! Clothes can only do so much for my appearance lol. (i know what you were saying, I just wanted to crack a joke)
I think what people are getting at is and there is a difference between a polo shirt and nice khakis short with whatever footwear and a beat up t shirt and basketball shorts.
I live in Florida and its hot all the time. My wife gets so dressed up for me I'm getting dressed up too, here at home too. I dont go out in shorts and sandals here to the clubs. We schedule dinner at 8:30 so it's cooled off enough by then as well. I really think a polo shirt is too little. It's always a button down here. We can change after dinner if needed.
As Becca will tell you I'm not one to dress up. I typically wear gym type clothes 80% of the time and then jeans and a shirt the other 20% lol But when I go to have a nice experience at a nice restaurant it's time to put on some dressy clothes. People like the atmosphere of a nice restaurant. Part of that atmosphere is people being dressed up. If I just wanted food I would go to the buffet. looking forward to dressing up for some nice dinners and hope our company chooses to do the same Tim
I don't know about the other ladies but I do as we were asked to leave as they thought my outfit was too revealing! My husband didn't think so!
