I think you have the right idea... I know you go to a trainer a lot so i'm sure they have you on a good workout plan... Just make sure its not too much cardio...
I haven't been on this thread for sometime.. guess because I have nothing to say, I haven't worked out, staying away from diet... so what can I expect...nothing...LOL Anyways we are thinking about a trip and was wondering if anyone on here is up for a challenge.. it isn't tough.. well maybe for some but here it is...I have and issue with belly fat, a couple years ago I tried that 17 day diet.. and it worked for awhile... I find with diets I tend to slip back and of course we all know what happens.. But what I did notice is my belly did not seem as big and mushy.. (for lack of a better term..honest one though..LOL) Anyways my challenge to anyone is no bread/potatoe/rice/pasta for two weeks and see what kind of changes it makes... anyone up for it.!!!
I'm up for the challenge. TTR trip No.3 in 3 weeks, so would be nice to 'feel' better as well, before the onslaught of alcohol and TTR food. I know that bread/potato/rice isn't good for me, but when it gets to this time of year it is my go-to staple when it's cold and I get lazy! I'll have to start on Friday though. Tomorrow I've got a work-thing, an all expenses paid meal at an Italian restaurant as a 'thank you' for working hard on a project over the past six months. No way I'm passing up opportunity of free meal at a posh restaurant, and being an Italian - near on impossible not to eat pasta! From friday I'll commit to two full weeks of: Breakfast - eggs or veggie smoothie Lunch - salad Dinner - fish with vegetables. No potato/rice/pasta, and also the unhealthy floury stuff like cakes, sauces, (basically starchy or excessively sugary things).
Ok Trish we start on Saturday.... I'm still going to do what I've been doing nothing else will change except the breads etc. I'm not going to weigh myself however I'm going to measure my waist...if I can find it.. anyways I'm looking forward to seeing if there will be any difference.
Same here. I'm not going to depress myself before my trip by weighing in, but I'll take a waist measurement Saturday morning, probably bloated from a binge on free alcohol and pasta on Thursday!
Woohoo! Couldn't find my black dress pants that i have been wearing this morning ... So I thought just maybe one of the pants that I haven't worn in two years might fit.... Excited to note I have them on. The scale has not changed that much the last two months but glad to know my increase in kickboxing and weights and decrease in gluten and carbs is making a difference in my body comp. Even more motivated now... Just refused Pad Thai with the co-workers.
No rice, patato bread of Pasta for 2 weeks. will be easy for me !! Since I'm working like hells, I drink water and eat. But the balance don't change That's pissing me off
I'm still 190 now -_- .. I just went down and go up on the stair about 10 times.. and my cardio SUCK !
Ok Finally I choose to go take a long walk 4.19 km so about 2.61 Miles, 417 K burn + I stand up and run everywhere today at the shop !! .. Ohhh Geez .. Guys, why are you motivating myself like that ? I don't know what I'll do without you !! Honestly !
I skipped the gym yesterday to clean up leaves around the house... So today I'm going to hit my back workout hard.
