Has anyone visited The Black Pub before and is it still open? Is it ok? Looking to visit on our stay, just wondering if anyone has gone before and what time buses finish in case it's a late night.

Black pub is still there. Just was there in last few days. Band plays Thursday thru saturday. Been in there approx 6 times We have always cabbed it both ways. Not sure about the bus. Not wanting to broadcast a lot of info on here Plz pm me if you want better or more info.
Black Pub is one of our regular places when we go out down town. It's at Plaza Solare opposite the Bullring across from Plaza Las Americas. There are a few other bars and restaurants around the same complex. You'll need to get a taxi both ways, it's not convenient by bus as you'll need to either change buses or walk a fair way. Taxi should be about $10. Best to go when the band is on at the weekends otherwise it can be quiet the rest of the week. The band is the same one that plays at Temptation.
times what is the best time to go steve..ie what time is the band on and what time does it close, i remember we went once , but it was shut, so we went with you to another bar in the complex xxx
The band come on late 11pm-midnight ish if I recall correctly. Not sure what time they close we have always left before they shut. Sometimes we leave at 2:30am and the band is still going. You'll probably want to get there about 9ish for a decent table, they always have a lot of tables pre-booked when the band is on. Yeah I think when we went with you it was a Sunday or Monday night, not a good time to go since it is more a locals place and no band those nights. Fri Sat will be the best days to go.
