My suitcase looks scary. Hopefully it's not over allowed 20kg. Now I sort of understand my ex husband, who had to travel with me like that. Ladies, rubber stick-ons are sold at any shoe repair place, $6-7 for 2 (at least in Toronto). It is a life saver, I've been running on heels since age 15 I think. Don't let them talk you into putting a permanent one, which is $40 - I usually do it only for my every day shoes and boots, those that I wear outside in the city or at work. I actually prefer these "stripper platforms" over just raised soles on heels, they provide a good platform and more stability (if they are of a good quality of course....). The platfom adds height, but keeps a foot in a proper fixed position and all the toes grouped together: RIGHT: WRONG: OMG, I am going to be there tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are also elevated flip flops out there: But honestly - you will be surprised that sometimes they are a worse option than just normal shoes - most of them are slippery and the foot is not fixed properly in them - so they can be dangerous on a smooth floor!
To be honest, with a lot of the gals at Temptations, who in world would waste any time looking at the shoes???
You'd be surprised, some gentlemen have quite a thing for shoes. Classic line used last December - Guy: "Are those shoes waterproof?" Me: No idea, why?" Guy: "'Cos I'm gonna c** all over them" !!! They were pretty nice shoes though.....LOL :daisy:
