Another TTR on Pacific side All these fellows need to do is put another TTR on the pacific side . Maybe Mazatlan, if they do get an older resort and TTR fresh it up about the same size as Cancun TTR it would take off. The problem with the Cabo location was that it was too small for the TTR concept and it needed more volume to turn the needed profit. We loves Cabo but would likley love Mazatlan just as much.
In a major renovation I hope they would lay tile that isn't so slippery. I know I took a nasty spill walking out of the mens room by the sexy pool and once more in my room. I'm glad I was enough drinks in to the day so I didn't feel so much of it.
But if you look closely just before you go into the front lobby from the right side through the glass sliding doors there is a sign about 5 in off the ground that says slippery when wet. You can see it right after you fall. Good place for it.
ok chatted with some people here today very open did not dodge questions they are adding 200 rooms by going up on the existing towers they will also be adding bars and more food etc. It is going to be done in phases however there will be blocks of rooms closed down at all times while the work is ongoing. Sounds very positive to us they are going for a higher level of service etc. The lobby location is going to be changing very soon the whole area of the lobby is getting renovated very soon they told us its the last time we will see it as it is now. I got a good feeling from the two premier staff guys we talked to they both see it as a good thing and did not try to dodge questions. I say its a very exciting time we get to see what cool stuff they are going to do for us and remember while the work is going on its the people here that make the vacation not the resort itself.
One more thing they gave us a heads up book early for next years trips because capacity will be down with closed rooms
