Flight is booked May 10th-18th. My liver is scared. But very much excited!!!! Can't wait to start shopping for themes.

:birthday: Going direct down and layover home. With a Jet Blue. I got it with points. I saw there were two seats left at a point price I could live with and got it. Air is still thru the roof. I'm still keeping eye out for prices as Polly n Carole are still looking. I only had enough points for one seat. I'll keep you posted. I would be outta my mind if I get to see you guys!!!! Xoxo
OK, been looking at packages out of LA the past few weeks and the prices seem to have come down about 10% as of today. I can book 9 days (May 9 thru the 18th) through Alpharooms for $1172.00 (single) and a flight (Aeromexico) for $532.00...the flight leaves at 11:40 pm and has a layover in Mexico City of almost 3 hours, but I will clear customs in Mexico City, thus eliminating customs in Cancun and I will be at TTR around 11:15 am (total $1705.00)...Or I can book the whole package from Orbitz for $1843.00, with direct flights (both ways); however I will have to clear customs and will not get to the resort until between 4-5 pm. I think this is a no brainer and am leaning heavily towards booking through Alpharooms...I can use the added travel time to sleep and prep for the trip, not to mention that I will get another 5-6 hours at the resort and will save $138.00...oh, almost forgot...the flight home is a direct one. I am really wanting to lock in these dates as soon as possible and I know that the rates may come down even more, but I am tempted to do it now...what do you all think I should do...Book now or wait a few weeks? The Alpharoom package sounds nice! I agree with U about catching some zzzzz and custom!! I would book!! My ass has to wait until Dec/Jan...So I have a feeling i'm going to get screwed :sauer005:

May 10th to 17th for us as well. Really looking forward to meeting up with old friends for another awesome week in May.
We are trying to decide on May 1-8 or 8-15, likely a mix TTR & Desire Pearl. Anyone experienced with those timelines and can recommend one or the other? The bigger the party the better. I know we really cant miss but it worked out great for early October when a bunch of us coordinated and went for the same dates. And FYI for anyone not yet booked, we have been tracking prices on Alpharooms which were $200+ a night. Hard to take given last year for end of April / 1st few days of May we paid $136. But thankfully there is some reasonability now as we see the first 2 weeks of May prices are now down to $160something a night.
