We, T & T have been coming this week for awhile now, too! Thanks for telling this story again, Scott. Once when I tried to tell everyone that week 8 was the last week of February, it was like I was thrown to the wolves! :icon_biggrin: Looking forward to the best year, yet!
i think what happens is that people are taking the question " when is week 8" in 2 different ways. while one person may be litterally wondering the history of it and when it technically is, a lot of people (like myself) are referring to when the biggest party is gonna be happening in February. i trust, believe, respect, and appreciate the history of the official week 8, but for the newer people over the last couple years they would miss the big party if they showed up when "week8" is historicaly. i was asking this question last year for our first trip because i assumed week 8 was the best time to go and simply wanted to know the best time. Anyways......week 2, 4, 6, 8......whatever......we will be there fromfeb. 14 to 24 and cant wait to see all our old friends and meet and make new ones......its not too far away now, and price increase or not, i hope everyone can find a way to return.

First of all Brent I want you to know I am looking forward to meeting & partying with you in Feb as our trips overlap quite a bit. Second - Like I said any week is a great time to be at TTR. I can assure you though if you are there for Week 8 you will not miss the big party. It IS the big party. I have 10 of them under my belt so I have a little insight here. The third thing I wanted to mention was the concern about Spring Breakers. In all of our trips I can only remember once when they were an issue to be reckoned with. They were a PITA at the pool when they rolled out of bed mid afternoon. after a couple of days & a few discussions they moved to the beach. They were really there for the downtown nightlife. The majority of Breakers arrive in March. TTR is not a hotel of choice for them. Not enough singles for them to pry on. Last but not least- the last week of Feb we felt gave us a better chance for warmer weather. I know Jan & early Feb can be cooler, not something we want for a tropical vacation. I know that doesn't bother you Canucks tho. haha We booked today Feb 20th - 27th so the countdown has started. There again looking forward to meeting you....Scott
