I have bought the expedia insurance and had to use it. And I was amazed how well it went actually... We had to extend our stay two days, because my wife had an ear infection and couldn't fly ... (Oh damn, we were stuck at TTR two extra days).. Long story short, the resort was sold out, so we had to bunk up with our friend for two nights (Yet again, so awful lol )... All said and done, we ended up having to fly into a different airport, then take a town car from that airport back to the airport where our car was, about 90 miles away. Cost of flight change and town car was roughly $800-$900. I was told that the insurance wouldn't cover the hotel stay, but covered everything with the flights. I submitted receipts for everything (Including the doctor visit at the hotel), and insurance reimbursed me without even batting an eye.
Just back from our trip in Oct 4-11th - total trip for the both of us was 1K. Working on May trip from 9-16 looking like it will be the same price or close to it. Woo hoo looking forward to the next trip and all of the fun with the May group! Thanks for the tip on the trip insurance!!

Our trip next June for 7 nights for the both of us is $2,200 including a direct flight out of Indianapolis. In July our trip was $2,000 for the both of us but we had a layover both ways and we also stayed at the GP which seems to be slightly less in price than Tempation.
