    What's everyone's thoughts on the discussion happening in another forum thread: To stop or not to stop at the island?

    We've indifferent, having never been on the cruise or island before, but are fine with either. Just want to party!

    My thought is do the stop but then when things get going we might change our mind.

    We didn't even post or vote on other thread because we have no clue since we have never been on one..

    It is also according to the weather and with Anna's motion sickness getting on land might be good....

    Our preference is not to stop for the shopping/bar but we definitely want lunch. For those of you that are new to the trip, the island trip consists of two options.

    There is a bar that you can go to and hang out at. From what I understand (we didn't go there), it's a smoky little place with reasonably priced drinks, albeit, a little lacking in ambiance. (Again, this is from others impressions as we didn't personally go there)

    The other option is to go and visit all the little shops on the island. This was the option we chose. There are some neat little shops, but they mostly carry the same touristy crap you can find at every other souvenir shop in Mexico. (IE. Tshirts, shot glasses, key chains, et al.)

    That being said, we had a WHOLE lot more fun on the boat and would just as soon skip the hour or two on the island.

    We talked about it before and said that if the party is rockin on the boat (which it most likely will be) we'd probably stay on the boat

    This is what we discussed as well. This trip is about the experiences, not the trinkets, and we absolutely love catamaran cruises...
