Maybe you didn't read it right ... this post has nothing to do with the hotel. It's about the Boobs Cruise. I've been out on the boat every time I've been there. If I don't go out it wouldn't make me stop coming to the hotel. Temptations is a great party place. I love Jannet and Steve as well and Chinos ... well what's not to love about that guy? That also is not the issue. If you watch the video and read what's advertised about the Boobs Cruise then you expect those things when you sign up. If that could change because you are voting on them once you are offshore then it should say so up front. That way there are no surprises or disappointments. You will know you are going out on the boat and staying on it and if that's what you want to do then you will do it. If you want the other things then you'll know to find some other way to do them. And as for the comment about cheap booze, food and boobs ... I would have to agree that you can get those and a rockin' party atmosphere right at the hotel, all inclusive.
Before this gets too serious please let me stress....we still get the fish at the buffet, does anything else really matter?
I don't remember too much about the downtown stop I took money to shop.... although after all those drinks, I could not handle it lol Next summer we plan to venture over to the island sober We loved the party on the boat, but we would be fine with either way....
If you don't want to party, don't fucking come. I have to say... I'm amazed at the poll results.. I expected many more to say to eliminate the stop... Glad to see its the other way though.
It's still a 2/3 majority, that's pretty significant IMO. We are planning to visit Isla during one of the Week 8 days where the weather is not necessarily sexy pool worthy. I figure that should be great weather for heading to the island and tooling around on a golf cart all day.
It really is great. Its also great if you find more people to go with you to share a cart / rent additional carts.
This is great and a perfect example of why we all go. We say that if the weather is not good, then we go on excursions because we don't want to miss the sexy pool happennings. People that go to other resorts get so upset if they schedule an excursion and the weather is not perfect. :icon_lol:
We stopped doing the spinnaker over two years ago. It takes too long and appeals to only a small number of people. Out of 50 people you might get 10-15 that want to do it and it uses up about the best part of an hours time. Instead we use that time for skinny dipping/swimming which appeals to a larger percentage of the group and doesn't interfere with the enjoyment of those who want to stay on the boat. Using the spinnaker needs the conditions to be just right, too windy or not enough wind and you cant do it anyway, plus it has a moderate chance of injury. Snorkeling - we still do that. The only time we don't is if no one wants to or the conditions are too rough. Yesterday, only 4 people out of 44 wanted to snorkel and we still went ahead. The snorkeling doesn't detract from other peoples enjoyment since those that dont want to do it just carry on with the party on the boat. The spinnaker interrupts the party and the majority have to hang around and wait for the minority to do their thing.
Party until the boat sinks, then party on the rescue boat. We like to keep the party going. Lunch is good, but get back on the boat and stay on it and party like rock stars!! Just saying.
the downtown stop, like the cruise, and the resort, depends on the crowd. it can be more or less fun. it nice to sit and chat with the CCC peeps. it wouldn't be the end of the world if the stop was skipped. and for the angry Danny person, lighten up a bit. first shot is on me your next trip!
