nope your right, not bad at all.. but have you checked 2014 rates.. that is what we were checking..April 2014..its highly possible that I am wrong..lol have not had a chance to speak to Brewster since he told me on Tuesday.. lol
It looks like April 2014 rates are $174/day. A little high now, normally will come down some after new year.
I thought with premier there was a set rate for the off season late summer into the fall and for the on season winter into the spring. And it was set by year. When I did the presentation they told me a rate for each. Do they change that often? I thought 2014 was already set. Of course I am referencing the AI rate. Not including the buy in.
Not sure how the new style of membership works. Our membership is a different program from how they do it now as we bought in 2002. Rates change for us based on how many rooms are sold. We paid $35/day for 35 weeks for our membership.
Yeah they do have an offseason and onseason rate that go through the year. I think that it depends partially on the details of your contract and when you got it. Someone who got a contract 10 years ago may have different rates than someone who got one last month etc.
If you add it all up, you pay about the same as anyone else that isn't a premier member. But you get the benifits of being premier member(better booze, better service, different menu, other perks).
Ok thanks. That makes sense. And it helps explain why we all keep hearing conflicting info. For us (we took the presentation last week) there was a buy in price and then an AI rate for off season and on season and that rate was set for 2013 and could change annually based on some mexican price index. End result was if you added our buy in price and the rate for off season it was $150something and for the on season it was around $190. So compare that to 2013 prices and that is worse. But if you compare that to the 2014 prices currently out there (but hopefully falling) it is a good deal.
Yes, agreed, regarding the premier referral rate. We just paid $144 premier referral and the best we could find was $136 elsewhere. I know the rate is much higher for May, $174 I believe but currently better than what is on alpharooms, expedia. I am still a believer in those falling to close to 2013 rates though at some point.
