I think that might just be general sprucing up Monique. The plans I heard were a lot more intensive. My guess would be they wont start with the rooms closest to the centre of the resort more likely the outliers. I'm not sure they are aiming for the more expensive angle, more the Walmart pile em high. Like I said, we should just regard the renovations as a rumour until we hear something official.... or more likely until someone comes back and reports it is already going on

our premier rates went up as well.. ;( never even got to use the rates we signed up for..jerks! still cheaper daily rate but not really when you paid a chunk up front..
Yeah, I didnt listen too closely to that part of the presentation but it can only go up by a % that equals the mexican index that tracks inflation correct? And can only change once a year? Like off season in 2014 is $119 and on season $150something right? I wish I wrote that down. What was it in 2013?
Im not sure how much they went up or how exactly it works.. hubby was checking for us for April.. I think our rates went up like $40.00.. but if memory serves me its the all inclusive rate that goes up.. Keith would know more than I.. this is our first year and we are learning..
We bought into premier in 2002. The rate was $110/day in slow season. $130/day for busy season. The trip we are making next week is $134/day. $24 /day more is not to much in 13 years if you factor in normal inflation.
