    I think the key is to staying awake as late as possible on the first night. I refuse to give in, and have a rule that we can't retire to bed on the first day before midnight, which when you take in the time difference is like going to bed at 6am after being awake for 27 hours. It's a killer, but it would be a nightmare otherwise.

    I tend to wake up at 4 or 5am on the first few days too. Last year I resorted to taking a Nytol at 5am after waking up 'as if it was 10am' for the 3rd day in a row. There's only so much reading you can do on the deserted beach chairs at 6am!

    Thanks Sue, it was pretty good. I'm odd though - I enjoy getting older. :aktion033: Plus I'm counting down days til TTR and each passing day is one day closer.
