I know many here have travelled to many places and wanted to tap into your experiences. me and some buddies are heading to Costa Rica in early-mid December this year.

any suggestions on resorts on the Pacific side on the beach to go to, or not go to? we are looking for a nice place for 5-7 days.

I know there is nothing like TTR there, and not looking for that experience for this trip.

    and, GO!

When I travelled to Costa Rica I stayed with a friend who lives there but she teaches yoga at the Bahia resort in a small little town called Potrero. Potrero is cute and has everything you'd need but the Bahia is not all-inclusive. We also visited the restaurant at a resort close by Called Flamingo Bay and it was very nice. There are also quite a few people who will rent out their homes there for a week or two if that's what you're looking for. Really can't go wrong in Costa Rica! Every beach is beautiful and every beach is very different. We had a black sand beach across the street from where we stayed but walk for 10 minutes and you had the white sand beach, walk another mile or two and you had a beach made entirely from shells. Very cool place to visit.

We were married at the Occidental Grand Papageyo on the pacific side. Its worth checking out. All inclusive, great food, located minutes from coco beach, we were picked up at our beach front to go Marlin fishing, Zip lines, volcanoes. Check it out.
