What are the "resort special" drinks, and what are in them? Like, what is the wet pussy (the drink that is)?
Man I thot I was up on things, WRONG, I don't know what half them drinks are!! I stick with Jim Beam an Diet. I love margaritas but at Temptations they are way too sweet to have more than a couple for me. Wife pretty much stuck with tequilla sunrise but she may change next trip.
We have been hearing different views on the quality of liquor at TTR. I like the sweet drinks but he leans towards the whiskey varieties like JD Jim Beam and Kesslers. Will he be okay with what they serve or should he bring his own.
Northwoods: You should be fine. As long as you don't want some exotic drinks or top shelf liquor they have the basics. Be sure to ask for name brand when you order. Otherwise they will pour the cheap shit. Our first time there we brought a bottle with us. Only had a few drinks of it in our room. Really did not need it and have not brought any on other visits. Never have had a problem getting a buzz.
Sept the drinks were 50% shit. There was some chemical taste in some drinks in others they just made them so strong with that bottom shelf stuff I couldn't stomach them. Even after a dozen or more they were hard to swallow. But I started every day with 1L of pinacolada in my Bubba mug. Then maybe a few more later on. Mix in a few Bahamas mama's and the odd superman. Rinsed my mouth and liver with some tequila while playing volleyball.
For some reason their soda makes the drinks taste flat. I couldn't wait to come home and drink a regular diet coke...lol Their coke light is definitely different but now I can't wait to get back there and have one
