    Sadly she woke up with a fever so we are off to visit the doctor again to see what they advise. I called US Air and it would cost me $2011 to move the flights back 1 or 2 days. Absolutely crazy. I am now calling the trip insurance to see what they would cover of that. It looks like the policy states it would cover a max of $361 in change fees. Ugh. Still hopeful that the doctors visit goes well and she gets better in the next 24 hours. Just stinks!

    Checked in to the flights and on a plane by this time tomorrow.

    That is totally crazy, but I remember the days when our kids were little. There is no way we could've gone on vacation and had clear minds when they were sick.

    Although, we never did a solo vacation until our daughter turned 18 which was TTR last year.

    May be cheaper to use the insurance and cancel and then re-book. Hope all goes well for you. If you push it back we will gladly welcome you to the mid-tober group
