Can we book from the Hotel? Is it worth booking before we arrive?

 

I have been told it does get really hot at chichen itza because it is away from the coast. but that is why you stop off at ik kil cenote to cool off. Also apparently if you ask the driver he will bring a cool box which you can fill with ice,beers and water.

 

I'm thinking either booking with Transbeach or the hotel so we all can be on the same tour. So it looks like the 28th is a winner. The more the merrier.

I, along with friends, did this private tour last year. You are in for a treat and imho the private tour offered through USA Transfer is the only way to go. Pick up refreshments on the way out - stop where and when you want to stop, beat the tour buses to Chichan Itza. And cost wise, as soon as you get 4 or more people, it is comparable or even better then the tour bus package. I would book it now and and update them on the exact number a few days prior to the day.

If you click on the tour link at the botom of the page , is that USA Transfer tours,, doesnt list a company ?

 

After hitting the link at the bottom and then another link and then another link, I finally made it to the booking page. It does appear to be "Entertainment Plus" which is I believe "USA Transfer"
