Sorry but I don't like speedos on men as explained and I think thongs look awful on everyone......leaves nothing to the imagination, looks horribly uncomfortable and what can I say.....I prefer the 'more (material) is less', meaning a nice swimsuit keeps the imagination alive. I also don't care to see everyone's butt, bottom line,... pardon the pun.

I have to confess I have worn one. But it was under my board shorts. I used to wear my board shorts only but they have no support and a few crashes hurt my balls. So I bought a speedo to wear under the board shorts.

I also swim for exercise and board shorts just don't glide through the water. I wear the long tights swim pants for swimming. But is is just the walk to the pool from the dressing room and in the water. I do stuff them so I look impressive.

I used to swim competitively and have worn just about every suit you can imagine from speedos to squarecut and from jammers to boardshorts. There is a time and place for most every suit and what you can feel right in wearing in the right environment. Here is my take on it, as a guy with a general knowledge of most suits and brands.

Speedo's, TYR, FINIS, NIKE, ARENA brands(better known as speedos) are just a simple bikini cut that main purpose is just for that purpose... speed. If you wanna go fast and don't need to worry bout your man junk "giving you away" or if you wanna sport them and catch a nice tan on the beach that's the way to go. Strutting around the pool in one in most cases will get people looking away but there are those attracted to it so if it is your thing.... ROCK IT!!

The Squarecut "speedo", is for the guy that generally has "the body" and the "mind set", knowing that he is the shit(yes, OMAR AND CHINOS you are the shit!!!) but yet still smooth enough to know NOT to wear a full on speedo, as in general most women prefer to have a little bit of a surprise.
    :wink3:

Now Jammers on the other hand are solely for the racer! PLEASE DO NOT WEAR THESE TO TTR!! They are the fit of a "speedo", with the length of board shorts coming just above the knee. They are meant for one thing and one thing only racing. Kellie(my wife) does prefers these over the "speedo" though so take that as somewhat of a hint.

Board shorts have all different cuts and lengths. If you like the beach bum kind of thing, grab a cheap, long length with no real kind of cut or fit to it. If you wanna hang at the beach or pool and trying to impress some of the lady folks... "shorter" length(mid-thigh) with a fit to the rear that has a Lycra liner for the MAN GEAR. This will help keep you up in place, eliminate most any chaffing and show off your ass. Most of the "professional brands" will have the most comfy fit since they are made/designed for pro athletes in mind which are constantly on the move and in action, in and out of water. The nice part of these is easy on, easy off with a simple tie/draw of the strings. You can sport the speedo under them so if you choose to tan without the farmer look coming from the board shorts and then going to take a stroll/swim up to the sexy bar or hang out with the ladies around the swings or on the wet deck you won't make em go running for the hills.

All in all try to remember that women are different then us. LESS IS BETTER the way guys look at it so ladies wander around naked all day and we will be happy. We do tend to like a little mystery so a thong and a tiny top will do so we can picture ourselves taking it off.

LESS SHOWING is better for most women. If you wear something and are proud of yourself then that speaks volumes of you and your attitude! remember that if your manhood is swimming around no one wants to be bit by the snake unless they are in the right mood. It's not a Chip n Dales dance off (unless of course it is Mr Temptation or IRONMAN) then give em the goods!

Lets face it guys.... no matter your size or shape(women included) the female body is SOOOOO much more of a work of art than a guys. :angel1: We have a dangling participle that we have chose to flaunt, whip out and shake every chance we got in hopes for a little peek from the ladies. All the meanwhile ladies, you are the forbidden fruit that has blessed us with being able to even just look at your beauty.....

I'll happily take a back seat to you and sport the board shorts!(ok I might just whip it out once or twice if you ask nicely! LOL)

I have been working out steady for almost 9 months now. By the time we go back to TTR it will be over a year. I wasn't that far out of shape, but I did drop 15 pounds and now fine tuning certain areas. I have Hurley board shorts and love them, but I did buy some square cuts for this year for two reasons. The first is to keep me motivated in my workouts to look better in them. The second is the wife likes them. The second is really all I need and could really care less what others think.

My "body by budlight" doesn't support the idea of a speedo.
