Just wondered if TTR has ben affected by Hurricane Ingrid and Tropical Storm Manuel? TV in the UK showed some placesvvery badly flooded but its much more inland?
I'm not sure if they were affected but the storm looked so much more North. I just hope the rain is gone and sun starts to shine today!
Steve keeps a close eye on storms affecting Cancun...I'm sure if TTR is affected or is in the storm's path, he'll put up a notice.
what is the most accurate weather website? I've checked 3 different ones and they all say something different...
The accuweather.com one seems good. It says Ingrid has been downgraded to a tropical storm and looks to hit the nothest part of Mexico at 445EDT with winds of 60-70mph.... I prefer those odds than when it was saying 130mph winds!! Just hope TTR, and the locals and vacationers havent been affected. Maybe thats why its been so rainy for people at the moment?
I hope it's not too accurate because it says the 30th through October 8th are all rainy But how can they predict that far ahead?!? They really can't right?
Don't worry it'll be sunny and bright on the fourth after we arrive! If not we will make the best of it because it is vacation after all.
The forcast for MX always calls for rain. We have been 5 time and it only rained 1 day. We still had a good day at the bar by sexy pool.
The way that goes is that in Mexico, it's common to get a rain cloud that will fly through at some point during the day...thus, rain is predicted almost daily. It may be only a slight chance and it may only last for a few minutes, but it's still in the forecast. It's especially true during the height of the rainy/hurican season - like the dates you mentioned.
