Ok so here's the deal. We have been to cancun many times and many times they call for rain. However, so far we have managed to stay away from it. If it rains, you just gotta move the fun inside for a while.

I've heard of 'El Nino' an ocean current that can affect the weather, so thought it might be related. I dont get caught very often but you definitely got me there LOL
It rained when Skip and I arrived at the airport then cleared up...later that night it was a torrential downpour. By that time we had made friends and all just got real close under the shelter at Paty'Os until it passed...good times!
That was an awesome night with some hilarious conversations & events. Especially when Robin (I think thats who it was) was escorting people back and forth under the couch cushions lol. Don't worry about the rain. If it rains you make the best of it. Like DeeNSkip said... We were up at Paty O's until 5am in the downpours and had a blast... The night before that it rained while we were in the sports pool.. Still had fun... And one day I heard people were dancing in the downpours at Paty O's and said it was the most fun night of their vacation.
This was the incoming weather on the cruise on the 2nd... Think that stopped us? Nope! Chinos, myself & NormaSnockers, TC123123, HammieJ, UsTwo, TWeb, Glenn & Monique, and quite a few others were up front, drinking & partying like rockstars in the monsoon...
The only way I'd postpone a TTR trip would involve one of those storms with a name. My advice would be to go and have fun!
Hahaha I'm such a blonde! I was about to google cloudnina and I was also disappointed because we arrive September 30th... glad you cleared that up
