where did you see it written? I'm assuming you saw it here somewhere. It also stands for Information Technology, but that has nothing to do with week 8, lol

lol. u know what.....thats on me, re-reading it. what u say makes sense.....Anyways. i think i heard that "week8" started years ago to define the first busy week of the year that just happened to fall on the 8th week. the name has stuck but i think that u will generally find that week 8 will always be the week that family day falls on in Canada and i believe there is a holiday in the states on that same day. Like us, i think most people take advantage of that hoiday to save on days off from work
