Fantastic information on this forum. Thanks to all who have posted. The wife and I will be visiting Dec. 1-7 however, I already regret not booking a longer vacation. My questions are as follows: 1) Theme Nights, though we're not conservative by any stretch. We are 44 and 43 so the Lingerie night might be intimidating for us both. Please offer suggestions. 2) "Boobs Cruise" same question 3) Dress codes, I've seen everything from dress pants to far less. Are all restaurants "business elegant" and WTF does that even mean? If any "repeaters" are going to be at the resort during this time please respond and also, take us under your wings. We know how to party and have fun we just would feel more comfortable with some instruction.
I (Andrew) am quite a few years older than both of you (Ali is younger). We are participating in the theme nights and I have an outfit for Lingerie night, trust me nobody cares how old you are, what shape you're in or what you do or don't do within your relationship Boobs Cruise, same question, same answer Wear some chinos and a nice shirt. Personally I do not take pants on vacation to hot climates, if they won't let me in I'll go eat at the buffet
Hi! We will just miss you (get there Dec 10th), but if it helps.... Lingerie night : whatever you are comfortable in, first time is always a bit intimidating, but believe me, your age is not an issue (we are many years older!!) and wear, well, not a lot usually! Maybe boxers for him, basque and stockings for her? Boobs Cruise : not our thing (seasick!), but plenty of threads on here to read. Dress code : yes, smart please in the a la carte restaurants, long pants for gents, elegant sexy for ladies, not so much an issue in the buffet. Then generally change after dinner for theme nights. (Check out December Theme Nights thread). Can be daring if you wish, as long as naughty bits covered, or just elegant and/ or sexy. It's your holiday - do whatever floats your boat, and welcome to the madness! :daisy:
HI! this Nov will be our 3rd trip to TTR. Like you on our first trip didn't know what to expect but as the days go you will be losing more and more clothes! I treat this as a place to dress how I can't when going to a club or outing with normal friends at home!! We are the same age as you guys so that is not a issue! My first Lingerie night I wore panties and heels only. You will see everything on Lingerie night..........wear what u feel comfortable in. Confidence is sexy so find something u like and rock it!! Don't stress about theme nights! If you wanna participate please do and wear whatever you want! or as little as u want. I can't tell u the times I have been pretty close to naked dancing at Paty O's!! Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit..............REALLY! As far as Boobs Cruise...... wear what u would at the pool or on the beach. There is NO pressure to take your top off but many women will be topless. Dress codes for restaurants aren't to strict...........but you should plan on wearing what u would if you were going out to a nice restaurant at home. Dress pants or really nice jeans and collared shirts for men. (most restaurants I think my husband got away with a few Affliction tshirts-a brand that cost upwards of $50-100bucks). I always wear a super sexy clubwear type dress. Once again women can be as sexy and revealing as u are comfortable with. Remember to just have FUN!!! If you are like us...............we love getting out of our normal home mom and dad box and getting a little wild and naughty! Hope you have a fantastic trip!!!
Thank you all for the quick responses. We're very excited. Seems like an amazing place and we look forward to meeting new friends. Our daughter is in College now so we're looking forward to some us time. I literally have been on this site non stop since I found it last night. Should be pretty fun for a couple from Kentucky. trust me u are gonna have a fantastic time!! Our first trip was one of the freaking best trips my husband and I have ever been on!! Every one is so nice and fun! Its like a week long college party........anything goes!! (remember those days)?! We have met so many couples that we still keep in touch with. We actually still meet 3 couples we met our very first trip every year at TTR!! It is like a big reunion every Nov!!
the answers you've been given are "spot on"............let me just add this............here's the deal.......no one is going to judge you in anyway for how much or little you choose to wear. Do YOUR thing........I'd suggest that today you're thinking.........."there is no way in hell I'd wear that in public"!......... You'll end up wearing it and I bet that by the end of your stay you'd be wishing you'd let loose even more! Oh..........and if you don't have fun it's your own fault! Pssssst....... You'll never see these people again! And.....by all means do the Boobs Cruise....it'll be the highlight of your stay!
Our first trip was in July, and we second everything anyone else has mentioned on here. BTW, we met a very nice couple from KY - and it turns out Wildcats and Jayhawks CAN co-exist (in the sexy pool, at least).
For Lingerie night, bring options and layer them. You can start in a corset or satin nightie (this is conservative by TTR standards) and strip down from there if you want to. I'd also suggest packing just a few things you think you would never wear in public...because you just may find yourself wishing you could get a little crazier while you're there. You can also choose your own adventure on the Boobs Cruise. The front of the boat tends to be the wildest; the upper decks and back of the boat tend to be more mellow. Guys should bring a pair of long pants and a nice shirt or two for the restaurants, but it doesn't have to be anything "businessy"--unless your business is a tiki bar or something.
