OMG! This is my FIRST time staying at TTR. I'm freaking out. I tried searching for a pack list but didn't find one. :/ I'm definitely bringing clothes(or lack thereof) for the theme nights. :bunny: I will definitely have a handful of g strings(The smallest I own of course). I will bring my sense of humor and carefree attitude. Should I bring my toys? I don't usually when I stay at GP, but lets face it... this is no GP! lol. Should I bring a condom or two just in case I feel like letting loose? lol. I'm definitely packing my camera. Anybody can take pics of me, I could care less. I have no shame and no job to lose, lol. Are there any random things that I wouldn't think to pack? I feel like when traveling to TTR, you would pack things you normally wouldn't pack to travel elsewhere. I'm so excited! I leave in like 36 hours so let me know what I should pack! How many pairs of heels should I bring? Or should I skip the heels if the floors are dangerous? Is it okay to be in the restaurants with very revealing clothing? (After all, we are at TTR, not DisneyWorld. :ladiesman1
Whatever you forget you can pick up at walmart, besides your toys. My wife and i went a couple months ago and didnt even use half the clothes and crap we lugged through newark airport. Have a great trip!
Be sure to pack some Chap-Stick with sunblock in it. My lips always take a beating in that sun. :icon_lol:
I always bring a bag of Starbuck's coffee with me.And filters!Don't forget the filters! I did one year. The horror!!
Yes bring heels, or "porn shoes" as Blanco likes to call them. And yes, you can get refused entrance to the restaurants if your outfit is too revealing (nipplage is not appreciated by some grumpy Maitre Ds - Edgar), so it's often a two costume night, one for dinner, one for Paty O's. :daisy:
Always bring condoms and lube hehe, just encase. Care free attitude welcome as always. good coffee is a good idea, unless you have had Mexican coffee before, its not the best but it will wake you up with no issues. Theme night packing is a must for your time frame. Clothing should cover your BITS when in any of the food areas, they may ask you to cover up, be prepared. My wife brings a few shawls with her, you can find some there, just dont pay much. They have some in the airport too, at least on the way out You wont need any tops, perhaps 1 or 2, they pack well, them sexy strings them! Sunblock is a must, 30 spf, too bad you did not base tan before you went, would have saved you some pain, you will see. Some type of covered mug, bubbas are the keg of chooice, hit your walmart and see what you can find, they also have the Temptations mugs in the gift store if you dont want to pack one. We used them last year, and I will bring them back again, perhaps. You want a covered mug for 2 reasons, to avoid anyone slipping shit into your drink, and to avoid the oh so yummy pool water flavor. As for heals, the floors can be dangerous, just watch walking and what not, they have no elevators there, so there is a lot of stairs if your on the top floor of a building. In all honesty flats are the best, except for theme nights and perhpas dressing up for dinner, I would bring one dress up outfit for dinner. If your going to go clubbing outside of the resort you may want more. As your first trip, start a note on your iphone on what to bring next time. Oh boob tape as well, or duct tape to tape the girls in some of them outfits, my wife has it on the list After sun lotion is also nice to have, the stuff in the store there is expensive. Oh bring a plug in air fresher for your room, will take away the must smell, a fabreez one. Im bringing 2 next year. The warm humid climates always have a musty smell in the rooms. not a big deal. Bring some antihistamine too, some times air conditioners have spores in them. Then the standard drugs too, advil, etc etc. Evenings can be windy and a bit chilly as well. but they can also be hot as hell. Be prepared for both.
Sunblock, more than you think you need and the ability to remember to put it on multiple times a day A hat - forehead, cheeks, and nose get oh so red! If your hair is not so thick, you will burn the top of your head too - OW! Wedges instead of heels - TTR is slippery, Paty O's was/is awkward with pointy heels. We've seen & read too many reports of bruises, sprains, and breaks. Reading Material - We enjoy our early mornings by the pool lounging and reading before things get going around 11am. A 3oz bottle of liquid laundry soap - It's nice to wash the chlorine/salt/sand out of your nice bathing suits. Tote bag for the pool to store your camera, sunscreen, cover up, room key. Enjoy the trip!
Here are a couple of tip threads http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/26990-newbies-its-little-things.html http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/tem...st-temptation-tips-newbies-feel-free-add.html
I am literally going with close to ZERO dollars to my name. So a trip to walmart is probably not able to happen. :/ I will definitely pack the toys then! hehe Are you sure it's the sun? lol. JK!! I am addicted to Soft Lips. It only has spf 15 but at least it's a little something something. hahh Note taken! Porn shoes.... sexy!!! Makes me sad that I don't have some of those see through cinderalla like porn shoes, lol. I will throw in the lube with my toys and make a trip before I leave to pick up some condoms. Are there some that feel better than others? lol I haven't used a condom in over a decade. Sounds bad but I am newly single, lol. I based tanned a little bit but not as much as I would have liked to. :/ Thankfully I still have my tan from Cancun a few months ago. I use 30 on my body only once in the morning..... and banana boat oil spf 4 every 10 minutes the rest of the day and 15 on my face(reapply when I remember, lol). I almost always come back with that racoon eye sun burn lol. OH YES! thank you! You saved me! I completely forgot about my bubba keg! Sucks about no elevators. does that mean you have to lug your luggage up too? or is there a ramp somewhere? lol. I can't even walk in heels sober so this should be fun! bahahahaha! My boobs are too heavy for booby tape. :/ I haven't tried duct tape yet! Maybe I will! At least they have cool colors/patterns now instead of boring gray. lol. In regards to the air condition.... what is a spore? I literally am just getting over the flu so I'd love to not get sick all over again, lol. Thank you! hah yes It's always the "remembering to reapply" that gets most people! My memory sucks but thankfully my skin starts to feel like it's on fire and then I reapply but usually its too late by then. I haven't been burned in Cancun since my first trip in 2004. I'm gonna hope it stays that way! lol. That's a good point about heels. I don't really have any wedges. Most have just a point. As another member suggested I'll bring some flats an only a pair or two of stilettos. I'm sure once people spill a little of their drinks the floor becomes tricky(even for the sober ones) lol. Reading - Thankfully I'm in school and have a bunch of novels to read. I'll make sure I pack at least one. Laundry - I found these super cool packets at Target and ShopRite. you literally empty them into the tub or sink and wash your stuff. Life saverrrr! I'll have to see if I can figure out where I put them and I'll toss them in too! Thank you for reminding me! <3 OH! I like that! So I guess permanent markers are um... too permanent? lol. Is a felt tip pen the same as those pens that you use to label CD's and DVD's? Thank you for the links! I'll be checking them out! <3 Thank you thank you everyone! you all are WONDERFUL and have helped so much! <3 HUGS! .... AND a motorboat! haha <3 Question******************* What would you recommend for the Boobs Cruise....bag wise? Every cruise I'm always worried my bag is going to slide off when a roller comes... or that the contents will get wet with the occasional splash. This past April, I saw a few friends have their stuff in bookbags and they actually used a bike lock to secure their bag on the boat. That was smart but didn't help if it got wet. Second: The Boobs Cruise is my favorite part to take pictures but I was so terrified of losing my camera in the water that I don't think I took more than 5 pictures that cruise. Made me sad. In previous years, my best craziest pics always came from the cruise. :/ Suggestions? I definitely can't afford a waterproof camera.... but if I can figure out a way to secure it to my wrist, the boat, and/or secure my bag, I'll feel more comfortable.
It makes me smile - and brings back fond memories of our first trip to a "similar" resort, years ago. We participated in every theme night and had an absolute blast. As the years (and trips) have piled up, we seem to pack less and less each time. The funny thing is, the fun stays constant. I'm not suggesting you remove anything from your luggage. I think it's awesome you're thinking just the way you are. Have fun.
