Well holy crap. Just found this thread. I'm heading down for my third single gal, solo trip. Have I been following the rules LoL. I myself, have never been in the lifestyle. Being single now I do offer myself some freedom. I spend most of my trips with couples. I may start a conversation with a husband but always befriending the wife and never flirt with her husband. I am not against playing with a couple but for me it would take an invite from them AND a genuine liking of both (which is rare). A single male is always preferable and more in my comfort zone. So what to do when the husband approaches me? Haha. Morally puts me in a sticky situation. One I am getting better dealing with each time I go! . I don't believe I have offended anyone on my past trips but after reading all these posts, it sure seems like many have some strong opinions on single male behaviour but what about us ladies?
I agree with you. I'm now single as well, but never into the "lifestyle". I prefer to find a single woman. I'm also not one of those obnoxious guys who will hit on every woman around. I honestly don't know what I'll do if I do get approached by a couple. It will be interesting, thats for sure.
Quite frankly I found your question and this follow up statement to be a bit rude and smacks of disrespect and lack of boundaries and an understanding of good relationship communication. I don't understand what "double standard" you are referring to. A couple has agreements upon entering a potential situation where sexual play could happen with others. I'm personally not involved with a man who would go ahead and "play" with someone that I "didn't approve of" as you say and nor am I the type of woman or partner who would go ahead and do something my man didn't want or "approve" of me doing. In no way did I ever say I could do what I want and he can't so this double standard thing seems out of nowhere. We are going on vacation to a beautiful place, with an open and fun party atmosphere to enjoy ourselves and celebrate my love's birthday. We want to have a good time, meet lots of people but this isn't Caligula in the Caribbean.:huh:
