We had an absolutely wonderful time at TTR this trip. We were there from July 19 thru July 28th. It was our 2nd time and it had been two years since our last trip. Our first trip was great. We had been on the forum for a couple months prior to our visit, but once we were there, we only met a few people from ccc. We really lucked out this trip by changing our dates to late July, instead of late August. What a great crowd this year!!! We met so many amazing couples!! The participation in themed nights was great and really made each night just that much more fun. I’m not sure which was more fun….the shopping and trying on before the trip, or the wearing it out and taking pics each night while there. Ok, ok…..wearing it was more fun. LOL. Anyway, thanks to the ccc gang who all participated in theme nights! And if you have any pics of us, please pm us. Our camera broke. L We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food this time. It was good before, but this time it seemed to have improved. Especially at Margaritas. Definitely a pleasant surprise. We dined at the Italian and the Asian as well. Food was good. Service was good-great depending on who your server was. Of course the Embarcadero was a daily routine for at least one meal a day. For a buffet, they do a really nice job of keeping things fresh and providing choices for the health conscience or for those who wanted to “indulge”. Hail to the omelets makers!! This trip we decided to try the infamous Boobs Cruise and we were sooo glad we did! It was great to see Chinos and catch up with him and we were so happy to finally meet Steve and Janet. Hearts of gold. You gotta love them. The staff did an amazing job of entertaining us all and keeping us all laughing and having a great time! Shot out to CHOW for assisting in entertaining us all on the 22nd. It was a full day or dancing, drinking, laughing, and shenanigans!! Can’t wait for the next cruise!!! In our opinion, the thing that most stood out this trip was the people. From the amazing people on this forum to the resort staff who always had a smile on their face. The fun and open minded environment makes this place what it is. Meeting people on this forum, then being able to connect there at TTR really helps set this place apart from any other. There were people I couldn’t wait to meet in person, but never really had the chance to talk with, then there were people we made close friendships with….people who you just know you will have as friends for life. We did several new things this year. We learned to paddle board and to kayak. I joined in on naked volleyball for the first time. And we even learned to scuba dive!!! Next year we hope to join in on some of the poolside contests!! Just as we did on our last trip, we left sad to leave our new friends, but already talking about our next trip and how we can improve it even more. Ginger and Eric
We loved meeting you guys! I am sure our paths will cross again- whether at TTR or in the hockey world Danny and Kevin
Very well said. We agree with everything you said. The people you meet is what makes TTR so great. They should be thanking Steve and Janet for this site because that is the reason we keep returning. The chance to meet amazing people such as Eric and you and then have a chance to party with them is priceless. Wish we could have made the scuba dive with you guys, but lucky we live close and we can plan one out here for all of us to try.
That would be awesome guys! We are looking into getting certified too. LOL. We will be coming down your way soon. We will keep you posted. Til next time...... :flash: Ginger
Tequila volleyball in the sports pool usually ends up with a lot of naked, drunk people. Come to think of it most activities at the resort seem to end the same way lol
Awesome trip report and you two were def an awesome couple. We are def going to visit soon since we have family near you. A year is to too long without you Troublesome couple plus we loved Gingers laugh to much and Eric's "stud-lyness" C&D
