Hey we're heading to Las Vegas and have found a couple places that have a topless pool area. Unfortunately most of these seem to charge a fee. Anyway we're not looking for a fancy place but a fun place. I know it won't compare to TTR but thought my friends here wound have some good suggestions to add fun to our Vegas trip.
A couple questions... So do you like club music and want a good dj? Or are you more in it for the topless factor? Do you want lounge chairs and more of a chill party? Or do you want more people, dancing, pick up scene? What day of the week are you going? Pretty much every fun place with a dj and/or topless will charge a fee. Usually $10-40 for the ladies. $20-60 for the fellas. but that isnt a bad thing in our opinion. We like Bare at mirage on the weekend or monday (industry day). it is topless with a dj and lounge chairs with a minimum but more of a chill pool party. If you want more of the mass huge party then encore beach club or wet republic (mgm). Both will have high entry fees on the weekend. Both are not topless.
when are you coming out? vegas' pool scene, even topless, is fairly tame when compared to TTR. here's a link to what some of the nightclubs and pools charge: http://cdn.photo.lasvegasweekly.com/pdfs/2013/07/25/2013-07-25_clubgrid.pdf the first two pages are clubs, third is pools. depending on when you are here and where you want to go I may be able to get you on a guest list for free or reduced cover.
We have been to Moorea Beach at Mandalay Bay. Pretty nice place, topless is allowed, they have a DJ on most days. On the weekend it is a ridiculous party, and on week days it is a little less crowded and more relaxed. Definitely a nice adult atmosphere to get away from the hoards of kids at the regular pools. We went on a Sunday and Monday and cover for guys was $50 and ladies got in free. Tried to go on Saturday but I believe by the time we got to the front of the line there were only a few chairs left for $200 each. Be prepared to drop some $$ as they charge for everything (umbrella was $100 for the day) but for the whole experience it was worth it. Bought their refillable cup and had the margaritas there by the time mine was empty every time.
Thanks to everyone for their help. We are looking for the topless, chill, pool scene. A dj would be good but not looking for a major club scene with masses of people. We are not looking for the pickup scene, but have swayed a little at TTR. Love to socialize and have a good time at the sexy pool at TTR that spills over to Paty O's. I know that can't be replicated, but we are looking for the relaxed sexy attitude that comes with a topless scene. It sounds like Bare would be the best option. No plans yet, we just begun the thought process of making the trip so no dates.
We are actually taking a trip to Vegas in November. About 5 of us couples that went to TTR in May. I'm glad you posted this as we are surely going to want a similar chill pool spot. We are going to rely largely on Mr Gottaski up there when we arrive to show us all the great spots! lol. If you all choose around the third weekend in November, get ahold of us!
There won't be many, if any, pools still open 3rd week of November, in Vegas sadly and definitely not pool parties. Still plenty of other fun things to do.
here's a pretty reliable guide to which pools are open year round, or only part of the year: Anthony Curtis' Las Vegas Advisor all of the topless pools are seasonal, Memorial day to Labor day-ish. also the prices listed for entry to the pools do not guarantee a place to sit; cabanas and daybeds are NOT included in the entry fees. if you are interested in a guaranteed place to sit (cabana or daybed) let me know your date(s) and will put you in contact with someone who can help you out. the topless pools are generally more chill, and most have a DJ, or DJ-like music playing.
I second Bare Pool. It's our favorite pool in Vegas and we have been to most of the top spots because we enjoy the EDM & topless scene. However, Bare is something special. It's starts like the quiet pool at TTR but with music, and around 3 pm it will feel a bit like the Sexy Pool with most people in the water mingling and the dj heating things up. They always keep a girl to guy ratio, so it's always more girls than guys and it's intimate. Don't be afraid to spend $100 on two chairs, it will go towards your food and beverage. Mondays is industry day, so people don't really go topless, fyi. Enjoy.
Awesome info, thanks for sharing! I have not been yet and need to get there sooner then later. Have missed a couple trips there so far this year and hope to make before end of year.
