Just wondering how/best /cheapest way to book TTR.

In the past we have flown air transat, and most recently sunwing. Hell will likely freeze over before we fly sunwing again, transat, and west jet vacations dont list TTR... whats the best way?

I booked it Through Expedia but was contracted through Sunquest. I was very satisfied. Even included Shuttles to and from Hotel without wait time.

We just booked our trip recently and ended up booking flight and hotel separately so we could use Air Transat again. Mainly because we are new to traveling and were really happy with Air Transat last year and didn't feel like figuring out and testing a new airline. That being said, the package rates at orbitz.com were the cheapest we saw. But the cheapest way technically would be to book the room through Alpharooms and the flight from wherever you like. The only thing that made us nervous about Alpharooms is that it says on the site that their prices are only for UK residents, but looking at the amount of US and Canadian people on here that use them, it doesn't seem like its ever been a problem

did you check to see what the cost difference was between a package, and the way you booked?

When booking, use Expedia and do your hotel and flight on the same transaction , a discount will show up.
From Canada Expedia has had consistent good prices, that I have noticed and people on here too.

I say from Canada cause from the USA they have a lot cheaper flights, and combining with Alpha rooms gives them a better deal.

Also when booking from Canada on a Canadian site you get free TICCO insurance and are better protected against fraud and non-fulfillment.

It would have been a good $600 savings at the time. We only booked a month or so ago but already prices are going up a lot. We booked club class with Air Transat and those tickets alone are $800 more as of yesterday than when we got them a month ago.

We had a great price from Expedia.ca for 10 days in December. We actually have been searching most online travel agencies since March or so for a good deal and it happened last week :) Can't wait.

We booked through Itravel2000.com and they were happy to price match Orbitz ... ask for Tara when you call.
