Single men have been talked about quite a bit on here over time. Last week Amy, the entertainment staff "boss" did a pool side poll asking how many couples people thought were at the resort. According to her and the resort mgmt the resort was 67% couples........which is apparently about the average. That ought to answer some questions for people. As usual........we met a number of great singles.........but there seemed to be more than a few pains in the arse. Just because the ladies are dressed sexy or are topless doesn't give anyone...M or F license to grab a tit or ass w/o permission! Duh! Again......some really great singles last week but too many guys being idiots.
Wow!! I'm shocked!! I thought it was about 10% singles? I think the problem is easily solved if there are any singles that are out of line or jerks is just report them and have the staff handle them. repeat offenders will be outcasted I would think? The resort has to protect their loyal clients!!
On our last trip we actually accepted a transfer to Desire for a couple nights just to get away from a particularly obnoxious large bachelor party. We're happy to drink and party with singles and couples alike but some singles go too far and give the rest of them a bad name. I'm quick to call out people who are acting like idiots but I think the resort staff needs to step up in this area too.
Yes, I think most problems occur when you have a big group of singles that are drunk and they start to get obnoxious. Have you encountered a problem in a situation that happened and the security did little about it?
We agree. I was groped by guys all week. I was beginning to think they thought I was free meat by the way I was dressed, but that is complete bullshit! I ought to be able to do what I want, when I want.....w/o being subjected to this sort of crap! After badgering me for half a day.......when hubs stepped in he finally said "I get it....no means no." Well that was only after hubs stepped in ...... I'd told him all day to please leave me alone, and he would for 30 mins or an hour, then he was back at it. Hubs finally put an end to him. Resort staff talked to the perv......he was there on a pass I guess.....we never saw him again. We go to TTR so we can be our non-vanilla persona........and I refuse to let some punk keep me from doing as I wish! At 33% of occupancy I understand why the resort is reluctant to be couples only, but one more experience like this and we'll be at Desire for our vacations!
I agree with the above. We've had 2 trips ruined due to assholes. Nobody likes to go on vacation to be a babysitter.
We wouldn't let them "spoil" the trip but the arses did put a damper on my enthusiasm for a couple days harassing me! I should have turned hubs loose sooner but thought I could handle these punks. We kind of think they had evening passes to the resort because we never saw them ..... Well.....most of them during the day.
Agree, mostly during the day but it only takes a few to make a trip a nightmare. One trip I was so over it I didn't wear my theme night outfits for the last half of the trip. Mrs Ajay
Wow!! I'm so sorry to hear that. That's just uncalled for!! I would've call the cops!! that totally ruins your vacation. the staff should not have allowed to go on for that long. They should've taken more severe action way earlier on. The jerks ruin and create a bad rep for all the single guys. I think if enough people complained to the management, they are forced to listen. But if not enough people complain, they just turn a blind eye. I hope that your next trip will be a lot better. Sorry to hear what you had to endure. That really sucks.
