Kevin and I joke that the sexy pool after 5 pm (in July anyway) is a hot as soup, and a cesspool of pee, lost drinks and bacteria. It gets cloudy... god only knows what they have to do to get that water clear by morning.
Hasn't even been three, months but feels like an eternity, going to have to go back soon. I have seen drunk people, stagger with their cup , and have their cup go under water, and then proceed to drink said cup of pool water, there was a story behind my comment. Not to mention the chick cleaning off the Monkey poop off her back in the pool water, and the people that sit at the bar all day. I wonder what the alcohol content of the pool is ? I,m thirsty all of a sudden.
We tested the chlorine levels last trip.........it was off the charts high.........would have killed everything ........ Anything in the water ......... Easily a 5.0 plus........waaaaaaaay plus!
Was that at the beginning or the end of the day? I have to agree with Donald, the ABV% of the sexy pool goes up exponentially as the day goes on! How would you be able to test chlorine... travel with a kit? LOL
The cloudy part often comes from "air" added to the water...........also by contaminants........but no worries......chlorine levels extremely high! The resort knows how to maintain their pools! We have zero worries about the pools. LOL......that's not to say the water is drinkable.........lol
Traveled with a kit........LOL......we have a pool! Tests we ran were at 3pm.....urine is NEVER an issue in a pool! Urine is completely sterile! Poo......sweat...and other bodily secretions are where the bac comes from..........not urine!
I don't doubt your test, just wndering why there is no burning to the eyes and it does not really smell like a high chlorine content. Maybe my eyes have been cauterized by some of the sights??
I'm not worried about the pools either...just genuinely curious as to how it would read after sunset on a busy day in hot July.
Chlorine is very high hell wife just came back with three brand new swim suits with the color completely bleached out. Next time well have to remember to rinse the suits before bed.
