We are going to Hidden Beach Resort Jan. 19th, 2014 and would like to know any info from other travelers. If you could let us know what the best way to get to and from the aiport. What we should expect and things like that it would be very helpful. :xyxthumbs:
Hidden Beach Resort(HBR) is located about 1hr 20min south of Cancun airport - the best and most convenient way to get there and back is USA Transfers(click on their link at the bottom of this page). HBR is mostly like any AANR resort in that PDA and PDS is not allowed and you can be nude anywhere on the property including nude for meals in the restaurants. The HBR secret part is that the beach in front of the resort is not swimable so don't count on any nude ocean bathing. HBRs sister property the El Dorado(right next door) does have a good beach which you can use if you wear a swimsuit. I believe that as HBR guests you can also dine and use the other facilities provided there. Bottom line is that if your just looking for a place to chill out and also be nude while doing it HBR is your place, if your looking for any entertainment and excitement there is very little to do on or off their campus.
Hi Angela! Whilst we have not actually stayed at Hidden Beach, we have stayed next door at El Dorado Seaside Suites and while we were there we got a day pass to Hidden. Hidden is small and quiet. Service is excellent, rooms the same as Seaside ie gorgeous. There is only one restaurant, but you can use all 7 (I think it's 7) at Seaside with no reservations. Food excellent. The beach is rubbish I'm afraid, but if you just don a G string bikini bottom you can stroll next door, their beach is wonderful, loads of soft white sand, snorkeling is great, loads of fish! Entertainment is the same at both resorts, the acts go from one to the other, and we thought were pretty good, fire eaters, casino night etc. If you are looking for an Au Natural, quality holiday, you will be more than happy here. It's not party central like TTR, but the quality is much higher, as is reflected in the price. Anything specific you want to know? :daisy:
Thank you for all the great info. We have been to TTR and wanted to try something different. Do you know if Seaside is topless? Hope you have a great time at TTR!
Adults only! Why not? I only wore my itsy witsy micro thong bikini bottom A la' TTR. No complaints (did get likened to a cheese wire once - I took that as a compliment!) :daisy:
We've just booked El Dorado Royale for September. Fiona will be going topless and wearing her thongs. Is this seen as acceptable at the pools? Apparently there are 13 of them! At least one must allow topless!!! Any ideas?...
I'm not sure, absolutely, that it's "allowed" to go topless anywerhe ON EDR, but you can on the beach. But, I don't think anyone would say much if it just sort of casually happened, but I don't know.
:daisy:Hello again fellow Brits! What's with this "allowed" business? We have stayed at El Dorado Seaside Suites (was gorgeous!) Spent 2 weeks sporting nothing but a micro thong with Blanco in his sexy man thong. It's adult only, couples only. Who's going to complain. If I pay that much for my holiday NOBODY I'd going to tell me to put my top back on!
By allowed I meant is someone going to come over and have a strop! We're aware we won't be in Ibiza!!! We know nobody will give a shit on the beach but poolside topless fun seems to be an issue in Mexico! Glad you had a good time and went for it while you were there. Confidence usually means you can get away with anything!
