Hey guys, last year was our first trip to TTR and we really didn't know what we were getting into. We were on this forum for months before and made great friends. By the time we got there we met up with our friends from here and man did making friends here make our vacation. It sounds like you might have seen videos from white night possibly where people were wearing glow stuff. It's only for a little bit that people have glow stuff and definitely nothing like a rave. Everyone's comments are spot on. Make lots of friends here and hang out with them during the trip. I know Norm and I questioned if this was the right place for us last year... and now we know this is the place for us. Nothing like going on vacation with 10-20 of your closest friends. And now we are going back this year with everyone we met last year and tons more we get to meet for the 1st time again. You will start thinking about when you can come back on the flight home from this trip. Darci
Wow. I totally forgot about that spandex suite AIWC day until you mentioned it. Wasn't it red though? Or maybe this type of thing happens all the time at TTR
It's best to go with no expectations other than knowing you are going to have to start planning for your next trip as soon as you get home from Round 1 ;-) Words can't quite explain how amazing of a time you are about to endure. In 5 weeks this will be our 3rd trip in the last 12 months. Each time has been incredible. Different memories, different crowd but amazing each time. The Boobs Cruise is a must though so make sure you book as soon as it opens! It will be the highlight of your trip!
I think the "REALLY GOOD" videos don't make it to Youtube, so don't judge it off of that Many of us want to stay anonymous on vacation. Every single one of our trips has gotten better each time. Our 2nd trip sucked, mostly due to weather and the time of year we went (end of May) and there weren't as many CCC people there - so when it was raining, we were stuck in our room...and Jeff kind of wears me out on vacay...so I need 'rest periods'. Also, I think that when we went in 2008, there weren't as many CCC members. ~Jill~
