LBK is our kid friendly destination. I have been vacationing here since I was a kid. Even if there was nightlife here, we wouldn't be able to take advantage of it. We are better off knowing that we really aren't missing out on much. I will have to enlighten April on the new code. Something tells me this story will have a happy ending!

 

Ugh. Been working my ass off the last two weeks on a project. Wrapping up and went to check the flights last night. Amazingly there is now a flight on the 4th (2weeks ago the only direct was on the 5th). So we were about to book last night for the 4th to 9th. Wanted to check w the sitter first to be sure 4-9 works like 5-10 did. Of course checking those exact flights this morning and they have gone from $374 to $674 each. How does that happen? Damn USAir. Now I have to wait and hope they go down again. No way I can pay $600 more 1 day later. If it comes down to it we will suck it up and buy a month before if it stays high and never goes back. Ridiculous.

 

OK, I want to re-propose the theme night discussion. (a) for acceptance so that I can start shopping (b) for other ideas and (c) so that everyone can post fun photos of what they are going to wear.

We dont usually do too many theme nights and stick more to the sexy club wear type of stuff. But a lot of the themes you have picked fits well with that. So we are likely in for white/glow night, red night, LBD night and hopefully sheer night (depends on comfort level so good that is towards the end of the trip). How would 50 shades of grey night work? Sorry, never read the book or watched the movie.

Our dates are likely 4th to 9th so we would miss Sexy Sports night but that is fine because we probably wouldnt do that one.

Hopefully 1 or 2 of those nights we could also hit a club. Sunday night may work for the dance club night. Or Monday night if people are more interested in the show type of club since that is Cocobongos night. But of course that wouldnt stop the theme necessarily as some people would understandably want to stay at the resort and LBD might even work for going to a club.

OK, I'm glad to see that all/most are happy with the theme nights. Woot woot for that!

Kyle, 50 Shades is kind of like an S&M type night, I would say. That's probably the best way to describe it. Wicked Temptations has a '50 Shades of Gray' adult toy section on their website. Check it out and let your mind wander from there... ;-)

 

Have you tried deleting your internet history on your laptop? If i am looking for flights on a regular basis i delete my cache once a week and almost always the price comes down :xyxthumbs:

 

Yeah. Cleared cache. Tried on multiple computers. Just crazy how it went up $300 each over night. I am depressed about it Someone needs to cheer me up with some new pictures


We are looking at driving to Baltimore as that will save us $600.
