If you could change anything about TTR what would you change?

I would like to see them get rid of those horrible plastic glasses and use solo cups because they sure as hell don't sanitize them properly

 

We just got back from a different resort (Grand Xcaret in Playa del Carmen) and were talking all week about how we wished we could morph pieces of each resort together. We also think sometimes TTR's corporate office misses huge opportunities!

1. Turn the lobby shop into a toy, fetish, and theme-wear shop. People not on here would scramble to buy stuff to join theme nights and toy parties if it were available.

2. Every other resort I've been to has a real disco that's open late. Why not decorate Nice Shoes better, add a light system, and keep it open at night? (and I loved the idea of moving it to a better location.)

3. Hot tub!

4. Instead of having a few people make spectacles of themselves in all the pool games, add some that allow for large team competition so everyone can be involved if they want (I'm thinking like the scavenger hunts they do on cruise ships where your team gets a point if you can build a pyramid a certain number of layers high or if you are the first team who gets a member to do the worm, etc.)

 

Nice Shoes is under-utilized. We just got back last night and while Paty-O's is fun, it's also sweaty-hot. We peeked in Nice Shoes on Thursday night and it was dark, cool, with dance music playing.....completely empty. The crowd was sweating it out at Paty-O's. Back in the day, the nightlife happened at Nice Shoes. I would also change the reservations for restaurants requirement and the scratchy wristband. Other than that we had a great time, met some wonderful folks from CCC and elsewhere. Thankfully, we managed to avoid the sickness.

 

We just got back and had a blast with all the June Junkies, but the food isn't very good compared to every other Cancun hotel we have stayed at, no free wi-fi, the arm band is a nipple scratcher for sure, no air conditioned indoor bar for everyone to gather before dinner or after...(rain). I don't want to sweat in my good clothes before dinner.
Like I said we are new to the board and the people make the place.

 

Try putting them on your ankle. Opposite ankle for spouse/etc.
Works great for us.

 

I thought that I read on here that they changed the reservation system, and you no longer have to line up in the morning to make them. Is that right, or are they still doing it the old way?

 

Wifi

Everybody wants WiFi, maybe they make it very expensive for a reason. If WiFi was readily available their would be a lot of live streaming on the web, I am thinking people would not like that, It would sure calm things down.

 

I love the Hot Tub Idea too!!! I also agree that small changes make a huge difference,

Better drink options, and mixes....instead of the sweet freshy
The Red Solo Cup would be awesome!
I would like a complete canopy over Patios for rainy nights
Make nice shoes Bar another restaurant
Make the Tex Mex Nice Shoes at night!!!
Please change the games...they are sooo tired.....and over-used
Maybe another beach bar then by the new Hot tub area
An outdoor fast food area at the beach if you don't want go inside
Massage on the beach option, really miss that one

Love the Chair idea, be assigned a chair and when you leave for 2 hours, you lose it! the chairs are a problem ppl put their towels on and go away for the day....not really fair to others and then we all do it because we know there wont be chairs opening up before the sun goes down.
