Huh. We've never ever noticed any area being reserved for us (members), and I don't know how I feel about it.

I think I don't like it. I've gone on record here saying I can't stand the holding of chairs by the use of a towel while someone's drunk butt is sleeping it off in their room, and I'll sit my big butt down on that chair while you ain't using it.

I WILL get up and give it back when someone shows up to claim it though, it's not like that.

It's sort of like Adverse Possession, for your legal typesesses.

Basically in April it was something new, there was about 12 chairs at the pool near the bar (west) and 6 or 8ish on a raised platform on the right of the stairs , that were roped off for members.
Someone forgot to tell the members so these chairs remained vacant most of the time for the first week with white towels rolled up on them or a white rope tie-ing a bunch of chairs together.

Donald.... I think that's just a stupider waste of space than the other thing where people save chairs for hours while ther're not using them, and in many cases are INCAPABLE of using them.

Note: I'm not knocking getting into a state of "incapable-ness" that's not it. That's fine, and fun, and cool, and often times sexy. What I'm on about is those Incapable folks infringing on other folks, who ARE capable, using those chairs. Even if only to rest for a minute between trips to the sexy ppoool bar to keep the libations flowing to the ladies.

It just makes sense to me. Argue me down if you would like.

I visit lots of places and go to events where there's always a system in place where those who pay more get member or VIP perks. That's life, and it won't ever change. I've no problem with that and make my decision whether I want those perks or not enough to pay the extra.

What's pissed me off about the chair thing is that it's something that was open to all, and has then been taken away. I don't like it when something I've been able to have before is changed. I see that as unfair. I don't even use the chairs, it's just the principle of it that annoys me. The extra dishes on the menu/beach area/reservation things have always been that way so I don't even notice them. Taking spaces around the pool is new, and I just think it's unfair. Bit nervous about what's next - reserved chairs at Nice Shoes/Paty O? Member-only restaurant?

I don't see why we need all this segregation anyway. Look what happened with the raised platform they built over the washroom. It's 90% empty because member or not, we all want to party together! If they opened that space up to all, I guarantee it'd get a lot more use. I say scrap the reserving chair thing all together, let anyone sit anywhere.

Guess you missed , that,, in April at Patio's the raised wooden deck with all the couches was for members only.
as the night wore on there were more and more reds venturing into the area.

Also if your a member and want some particular chairs at the Sexy pool , you can get that too. That's what the white ropes were about, there on top/supplementary of the pre reserved sections they have.

you know, my bet is that if the reds sit in the white areas most of the time no one is going to remove them, i'll test that next month and report back. ha!

Nobody cares as log as no premier need the chair :)

Prople also put towel on the chair and not showing of before lunch!

Also a girl we went with, put a t-shirt on the chair she came back at 9 a girl was
Sit on his chair, she take the t-shirt and put it away!! Just because she wants the places ( and wasn't for premier )!

    For
The premier that's true I never see it full!! So sad!

Follow the rules. . pay the membership price or "Stay off the damn chairs". Keep to your own kind!
    lol

All this BS about chairs. . very humourous. . . .Anyone remember who leaked this new policy about chairs back in January?

Curious how you all will feel next year when "Members-only weeks" are implemented. Whispers are that the last week of every month are members only. Different menus those weeks. Better furniture/ chairs and more staff. Apparently they trying for a comedy night with stand up comics, just during Memweeks . . .telling jokes about 'Reds'.

We accidentally tested this out in late April. We went to reserve chairs at 5:45am. Came back at 9 and our stuff was moved to a table and replaced with rolled up premier towels. We moved the towels, replaced our stuff and sat down. 5 mins later they nicely asked us to move. I explained we didn't know this was reserved. The orange tshirt guys put the premier stuff on them at 6 apparently. 10 minutes later he came back with 2 more orange tshirt guys saying we had to move and they would locate 2 chairs and place them on the end behind several other rows towards the sports pool. We said no thank you and told them we would not sit there for the rest of the week but were not leaving. They left us alone and I later tipped them because I felt bad they were not getting tips from premier members that would of been sitting there. We usually sit in the chairs until 3ish and then spend the rest of the time in the pool for shot time. I believe all of the premier chairs were eventually taken but my memory is a little fuzzy.
