    Went to take a 1.25 miles ( or 2 Km ) =D take about 30 minutes.. eat alot of fiber drink water like a cow !!

    What else I can do lol

    I think I'm consuming too much fruit, so switched up the usual fruit smoothie this morning for a part veggie/part fruit smoothie instead: cucumber, carrot, kale, 1/2 an orange and a nectarine with ice and water. A bit dubious, but it tastes better than I expected - fresh orange is so overpowering it masks all the vegetables.

    Another gym session this morning too :)

    The sugars in fruits are actually not that great for you... Try to do more veggies and less fruits... Oranges & nectarines are some of the worst for the sugar content... Yes they are fruit so they are healthy... But the sugars aren't good for weight loss...

    I've ditched bananas completely - I think they were holding me back. Still not lost any weight yet, so trying to find the right balance. Lost inches around my waist though so doing something right! Working your head around the sugar/fructose/sucrose thing is a nightmare. Buying fruit juice in a carton is completely pointless, it contains almost as much sugar as coca cola!

    Ok guys! So I've been watching this thread for a while now and I finally think I'm going to jump on the banwagon. LOL. Truth is, I've been working out now for about 3 months, or approx 140 days til TTR. LOL. I've done ok. My main goal is to loose a little tummy and tone up. I've accomplished about half my goal and I only have 38 days til TTR! I've been taking spin classes 3 times per week, which really helped me loose the tummy but I got really frustrated that I didn't seem to be gaining any muscle tone. I also lost a lot of my booty, which I'm not happy about, so now I'm incorporating free weights (as of this week). I've tweeked my diet a bit to lower the carbs and sugars, which seems to be going well. My biggest downfall is I love my drink at the end of the day (or two...or three on the weekends). I always notice a big differnce when I stop drinking, but that's no fun at all! Anyway....did my spin class last night. No gym for me today, but will try to do free weights at home tonight, then go back for spin again tomorrow. Wish me luck!

    Keep going your doing great. Weights will help you get tone. Welcome, glad you decided to jump on the band wagon.

    Well had a few crappy days. No work outs as I have been sick. I am gonna try tomorrow to get one in but I don't want to push this cold in my lungs so taking it easy.

    bananas actually aren't AS bad as some other fruits... Especially before/after a workout, as the potassium is good for you... Sometimes I do half a banana with my protein shakes... Apples/Oranges are bad fruits for the sugars...
