I like your attitude. On every forum you are on you are always so positive, such a breath of fresh air.

We never were in our chairs anyways. They were just stuff holders, that can be accomplished on a chair at the beach.

Is a chair and all the little things really worth not going to TTR over??

    Yes, Desire can be used

The Premier membership DOES include Desire. However there is an additional fee if used there versus Temptation or Sea Adventure locations.
Nights at Desire can not be "sold" as can the ones at the other properties.

Just keep in mind....when those members plop down anywhere from $5k to $20k for that membership......they might just feel like they do deserve a few little extras over the those of us who book off internet sites. I don't blame them for wanting a little value for that investment. $5 -$20K for a reserve seat....think about it.

Well What I Do normally .. when people reserve chair and nobody show up at noon .. I take his thing put it under the chair and sit my ass right there :D

If they come to say something .. Will be my pleasure to tell them well you wasn't there for all day!

If i'm on the pool then what I do just ask friend to put my things under chair since i'm always in the sexy pool.. so for not taking place of somebody I just leave my things under the chair :D .. That's way i'm not pissing off anybody because i take a chair and didn't sit on it for the whole day ! And by 5 pm everyone are out for dinner so I have the plenty of choice :D

ok .. I need to stop to talk here.. I miss so much cancun :p

Just my 2 cents on this! We have been members since the old BBG days, We have upgraded 2 time since, The last being this past May! Do I think we should have more perks? Hell Yes!
Most of the members have worked hard all there lives to get to a level where we could afford such benefits. We how ever hardly ever sit in chairs... Anywhere.
Seems like a pretty petty thing to Bitch about! Don't like it BUY IN!! Repeaters last 13 years, 28 trips to date! It's all about the people... Friends you see there,
    Members or not. Not Chairs!

Missing the point,,, yes you do deserve a perk,, it should be a better price for the room , end of story.

Having 2 tiers of guest get confusing ,,its discriminating,, and is unnecessary if they give you the better price.

Not ever one has 20 g to put down on a timeshare.

Most resorts survive without timeshares , but can't survive without the normal guests, so who is more important to keep happy to keep the resorts open???

The resort still has had a good balance, but the perks given out are just starting to infringe on the enjoyment of the resort by non members.
If they continue to increase they may see a drop in occupancy.

At this time (April) I don't think it was overly excessive , but if it continues at the rate they're going non- members will have to sit in the ocean or at the quiet pool.

Can't wait to go back and see if I can still get my chair :huepfen013:

You missed the point! Chairs! Minor detail was my point. And yes I know everybody can't afford to join. It took us years to be able to do anything. And try finding a resort in Cancun that does not have a timeshare.

I agree. I'd like the chance to get a reasonable timeshare, but coming from UK, it's just not financially viable when you account for flights right now. I can agree that premier members deserve preferences on things like better rooms and liquor, but reserving chairs in communal areas? That's a bit too much. Space should be free for everyone! Better rates on booking is a great idea for premier instead of meaningless perks that don't really matter.

Seriously! Its 20 chairs at most around the Sexy pool. Very minor in the grand scheme of things as there are more than 100-chairs around the pool.

The chairs & beach area are put in a cluster so the Premier staff can cater to there Premier guests without traipsing all over the resort.

What Premier folks need is a separate smaller bar at Paty'Os like they do around the pool.........
