Yikes, one of our a/c units went out last night. It's going to be in the upper 90's here all week. It just makes me wish we were in the pool at TTR with good friends and cold drinks.

 

I feel your pain Darin. Our a/c always seems to go out at the worst times. Why can it never go out during the Winter months? Wishes of TTR seem to cross my mind as soon as my feet hit the floor every morning so I don't need something as drastic as the a/c going out to daydream of TTR shenanigans. April and I did begin our TTR training this past weekend as the kids' Grandparents surprised us with an offer to watch the kids for us over the weekend. We would have made all of our fellow Octoberbreasters proud!!!

Luckily we cranked the upstairs unit way down and it carried us through. Sweet on the weekend deal with grandparents. Next time jump on a plane and come see us again! Lol

Thankfully, it sounds like it is only Cabo. Not sure why, but that one never seemed to get traction, even though it was the original of thet concept before converting to TTR west, then back to Desire. It is generally a lot more expensive to get there from anywhere but the west coast...maybe that and the crime issues on that coast signaled doom. We went to Pearl last year, and it was awesome. Super nice resort, and met lots of cool people. Downside is it cost basically double TTR. looking forward to splitting time in Oct between DP (did I just say that out loud?) and TTR.

And to catch up, we will be married for 22 years come Oct...yes we met in West Virginia, for those who must know!...NOT!

Been to many C/O and family beaches and resorts around the world...to numerous to mention, but I will say that TTR is totally unique for it's fun party vibe. Can't tell you how many times we have been somewhere and felt it was a really cool resort or beach in a great location, but "where did all the fun people go?" TTR is a blast, and bang for your buck, you cant beat it. The people make the place, for sure.

I do have a couple great A/C guys that work for us, but the trip charge from South Florida might use up the savings...we have had four or five go out this week...

Just got back from Lido Key, and it's a great beach, with some good restaurants, but the complete lack of a decent party spot is nauseating...so here's to TTR and all the fun people that make it special!

 

A/c is all fixed. Just took money. Can you send that instead?
