Alarm went off at 6am and for the first time since starting this routine I really didn't feel like getting up but had no legitimate excuse not to go. I powered through it and got my ass into the gym, albeit 10 minutes late. So glad I didn't flake out - best workout yet. I'm trying to keep low carb, but it's hard after a lifetime of a carb-heavy diet. I'm seriously addicted to it! Messed up a bit yesterday, having pasta with my evening meal. Maybe that's why I didn't feel like going the gym this morning?
I possibly have found my answer to getting out of bed in the morning.. Make my alarm play Danza Kuduro... As soon as I hear it, I think Cancun! Get your fat ass up! Was at the gym by 5:40 this morning... Did 30 mins on the treadmill, pushups, pull ups, and dips...
I was out on friday and managed to ruin my feet in a pair of flat sandals...wtf! Weren't even high heels. As such I've had to rest up this weekend.
I actually dragged my ass to the gym this weekend and did some good arm sets... Still sore today... Came into work early and going to hit the gym after work...
I've eaten like a pig all weekend. To be honest it could've been much worse, managed to keep at least some level of control. Drank alcohol on Friday, and it all went wrong from there. So easy to fall back into old habits! I don't drink during the week, and normally only when I'm invited out somewhere on a weekend. Nothing in the pipeline now for a while, so no excuses!
