    Did you all see that Desire was sold and is closing down next week? I guess Chip and Pascale's plan to split their next vacation up between TTR and Desire won't work out. Now they are stuck with us for their entire vacation! :)

    Yes, it was sold. Sounds like it will close for a while and reopen under a different name. Who knows what else will be different.

    There "were" three, Desire (the "original" one just outside Cancun), Desire Pearl, and the Desire Cabo, which was something else before and just didn't get enough interest from the left coasties I think to stay in business, apparently.

    The other two don't seem to have a problem staying at near-max occupancy.

    The Cabo one was TTR but changed last year to Desire. I had heard they were never more than 50% booked. I guess that's why they closed.
