Our first trip to TTR is less than 3 days away. We're disagreeing about whether to just get a cab to TTR or book USA Transfers. I wanna do the USA Transfer but he doesn't think it's necessary. Convince us one way or another. Also, is it too late to book USA? We arrive around noon Saturday.

    Thanks!

do not take a cab, they aren't real cabs and will charge you out the ass. USA Transfers is cheaper and will be waiting for you when you land.

We try to get a cab to go back to the airport, because the dumb was used to be our travel agency, forgot to put us on the list for the transfert.. I was so piss, almost miss my flight because of those stupid people.. I was so angry at them!! Finally I make it.. and the cab was so expensive from the hotel .. Was just crazy . Never again !

USA Transfers = quicker, less expensive, more friendly and they'll stop for beer if you'd like :)

No competition! The wife wins this one.

$60 or $70 there in a 'cab' plus $30 back with a real taxi, or $55 round trip with USA Transfers?

Real cabs are not allowed to pick up at the airport, only drop off. The only company who can pick up without pre-arranged bookings is a company called greenline who have the word 'taxi' written on the side of their vehicles, but they don't operate anywhere else outside of the airport.

They have simply paid for a very expensive exclusive licence to operate and rely on overcharging the uninformed who arrive with no other transport option.
