Friday late night - 11:15 p.m. until David Wayne & Rashaan's After Party in the malu malu room at the balcony of the Bourbon Cowboy Bourbon Cowboy - Bourbon Street Night ClubBourbon Cowboy | AWW HELL YEAH!!!


Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Jim & Terra's Parade & Pub Crawl Carousel bar/Hotel Monteleone it all starts in the carousel bar where the storyville stompers New Orleans Brass Band - The Storyville Stompers - Traditional Dixieland Jazz Brass Band meet us there and march us through the lobby of the hotel (horns a blasting) and onto royal street for the massive second line parade (all of us decked out as superheroes) ----> quite the sight pub crawl kciks in immediately following the parade at the cats meow

Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. Nicole and Tracy's Sunday Jazz Brunch at Dickie Brennans Bourbon House Bourbon House New Orleans perhaps the highlight of the weekend - our group grants a special child a wish and we present a big fat check as a group to the make a wish foundation.

after the brunch the moving parties begin again and while nothing is scheduled per se' everyone roams around the quarter catching football games (opening weekend of the nfl) drinking and eating some great new Orleans food


these are just the scheduled events which most join in (exception being the golf as that is primarily locals with only a handful of us particpating)

agree completely - i mean if your going to go to new orleans at some point........

why not go with some other awesome like minded people, get a great rate at the best hotel in the quarter, be a part of an incredible weekend and do something really cool for others....all at the same time?

last years awesome group - immediately before the parade began in the carousel bar at the hotel montelone -----> this year we are going to have to take the pic outside so we can get everyone in it - already working with the hotel to have a really nice one

How much are the room regularly? I would like to try and swing it... First time I saw this thread...

 

the rooms jump significantly - today they are at approximately 250 per night. however, I just got word that one of those planning on attending is not going to be able to make it now and she would be willing to transfer her room over

this tends to happen each year

another option is other hotels in the area - none will be cheap on this weekend as this event is going on as well as saints in town and every hotel in the quarter will end up being booked before the big weekend
