In your past experiences was wondering what the time was from walking off the airplane to the resort? We get in at 830 and was wondering if a 1000 Boobz cruise departure was possiable
I'd say odds are you wouldn't make it in time. To get there and checked into the hotel and then to the cruise you'd have to have everything go perfectly every step along the way.
Depends on the custom line. The best time we ever made was an hour and 15 and that was carry on luggage. When we check its usually 2 hours on the safe side. But again it depends on the number of planes landing at the same time and the customs line.
You know at that hour of the day I don't think it's impossible... That said, I'd bet it's a 25% chance of everything going perfect and you making it by 10am. You being a pilot, I know you understand landing at an airport on a good day on time and then getting to your ride, then the hotel ride...oh oh oh yeah and then there's check in without a hitch is a long shot...actually really long if you ask me. I wouldn't want to bet on this one. I say enjoy the day at the resort! Aren't you there at the same time as Jill and I (June 25-July 4th)? There was a push somewhere on here to setup a Boobs Cruise on the 26th or 27th also I believe, if that works for you. Jeff
What do you guys think of still going on the cruise but if we don't make it then take the the ferry to isla majaras and meet up with the cruise then take it back.
Don't pay the deposit in advance. You can still catch them at paty o's and pay to go then if everything goes as planned. The other concern is if your room is not ready. THen your luggage will be left out all day waiting for your return.
Given the circumstances you're welcome to not pay a deposit and if you can make it by 10 then we'll be glad to have you along. If you are really pushed you could check in when you get back. We are back at 5 and rooms generally aren't available anyway until 3. As an aside, I got through the airport in 40 mins last week, and that included a red light at customs. I was really lucky though - they opened up another line for immigration just as I was at the end of a very long line.
last week we touched down and made it to the resort via USA Transfers within an hour. there was virtually no line at customs (we landed around 3pm), we both got the green light, and traffic was not too bad. your earlier arrival should (I hate that word) allow you to got through things quickly, but, Mexico happens. Steve said it best.
