I started getting tired of purple shit and daiquiris so I started drinking Malibu & cranberry. The juice has a weird aftertaste so I started getting Malibu, cranberry, a splash of orange as a slushy. Soooo yummy and refreshing.
The trick to a good TTR margarita is getting it on the rocks, not blended, and asking for it not sweet with a 100% agave tequila made with a few fresh limes. It took a few tries but once we got Eme trained he became great at making them for us. They always add too much mix and not enough alcohol so everything ends up too sweet. Best beer at TTR is at the Asian restaurant - Tecate light in 12oz bottles.
There is a Creme Tequila down there that comes in a blue bottle. I can 't remember the name and it's not available at TTR but it's great for afternoon body shots! Anybody know the name or where you can buy it?
There are multiple Cream tequilas - Tequila Rose in Strawberry or Cocoa 1921 Crema Tequila Rum Chata is excellent as well! A horchata rum mix. Your large super mega liquor stores should carry the Tequila Rose variety at a minimum.
Miami Vice goes down easy at Temptation...and makes your tongue bright red after about 18 of them, they are not very strong unless you request it that way.
Long Island Ice Tease were delicious If you want a break from the sweet drinks and you like coffee they also make a good White Russian...yummy
