Yeah! We went to a Jazzy restaurant, and then went and found some very talented dancers in Montreal! Including a BBG-visitor! Fun times.
As everyone else has pointed out you shouldn't have a problem at all being a single male. It's only the large groups of single guys (10+ males all together trying to one up each other). As long as you don't hang out with a herd of guys you will have a great time and be welcomed by almost everyone.
personally as a single female preparing for her 4th trip to TTR, I enjoy having single males to talk to and hang out with. I have made some great friends that fall into the "single male" category and wouldn't change it for anything. MagicMat~The only change you should make to your trip is move it to the end of June, lots of respectful singles at that time. Single guys haven't been a problem except for once, when a guy got totally and completely inappropriate with Stacia when I wasn't actually physically present when the guy made his gropy-pass. That might have turned out badly for someone if I'd been, but hey. I "think" it's the packs of young, horny, overly-drunk (happens) drunk (said the second time on purpose) guys who end up causing the problem. We've met single guys from the U.K., Canada, Spain, France, Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, other parts of Europe, as well as Russia and Austrialia, and since each was coming either on his own or with one mate, they've been great guys to meet and eat with and share stories and get down to partying with. But..... on the flipside, it's sort of a ratio thing. Single guy coming to a party with a bunch of couples, and the odd single girl or girls present, no worries. A group of couples outnumbered by a pack of single, drunk, horny, drunk, acting over-the-top isn't so much fun. If there's a way to keep the spring break groups from showing up in packs, that'd be good.... But, we also welcome the odd single dude to the TTR party. I know. Inconsistent.
Hiding? That's because you scare me. You are the only person that has picked me up from the airport, drove me straight to a hotel for an hour or two, then to the sex shop and then to a bar. My regular routine has always been the complete opposite. Airport to bar to toy store to hotel. I had to cut myself off from the internet so you couldn't kill what was left of my innocence. I think Montreal was the last time... a few years back. When you visiting next? I try to make it back for a couple days every 3-4 weeks. I think I'll be thirsty... and PATIO SEASON is back!
