Question for the day: which of you, if any, have ever been to any 'real' nightclubs/bars in Cancun? How were they??

My experience is that we never wanted to leave the resort. We were very happy with the Nice Shoes / Patty-O's combo. We had too much fun there. And, let's face it - if we went somewhere public, I would've had to put on 'real' clothes, and who wants to do that?

 

So, you're going to miss Octoberbreast and go in August instead? Or are you going to make both?

 

The only time we left was to walk across the street to the pharmacy, other than the Boobs Cruise.

 

April and I went to The City nightclub one year and had a great time. Great music, show, and people watching, but the other people from TTR that went were duds. I think it would be a blast with the right group.

Not just the guys!!!

 

We tried them all out last time. None of the mainstream clubs would entice us much to go back to them. They were crazy crowded, but it was the beginning of April so maybe we still had some of the spring break crowd hanging around. However, there was this after hours exclusive rooftop that our local friend got us into that would be well worth watching the sun rise at again! we are not sure what our stance will be on leaving TTR one night this time. Last time in Cancun at a different resort we needed to go out to find a party but apparently TTR is where the best parties are anyway, so we may not feel the draw to go this time.

 

We have always enjoyed our time at TTR with the party atmosphere that we have never felt the need to leave and go out to clubs. Plus the wife gets to dress way sexier by staying at TTR.

 

My mistake

 

We have been to the city once which was okay but uncomfortably crowded with average music and shows. We had VIP section and still had very limited room to dance. However, we did end up at the only after hours rooftop club in Cancun and it was trendy, sexy, and clean! The owner was very generous to give us the VIP treatment with our private dance loft that overlooked the ocean as the sun came up. Other than the guy that got shot in the parking lot and the incredibly exciting bus ride back to the resort at 7 am ( actually very fun!) we had an unforgettable night and morning. I would love to tell you about what happen when we got back to the resort while still under the influence but it might be to much for your virgin ears...LOL!
